Visiting a new place for the first time can be intimidating, so we want to make it as stress-free as possible for you.
What should I expect?
The service will be about an hour. It is often times a mix between traditional and contemporary music, though some weekends we might have more of one type.
What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever you want. Most people dress in business casual clothing, but many others either dress casually or in their “Sunday Best.” We do not have a preference one way or another. We just want you to feel comfortable enough to come and experience God.
What if I have kids?
It is important to us that you and your children feel safe and welcome. We have a nursery for younger children and children’s church for those who are in fifth grade and younger. If your children feel more comfortable sitting with you during service, that is perfectly alright. At Amelia, child safety is our top priority. During all services children must be checked in and out through our secure check in system. We also require background checks for all of our staff and volunteers.
Where should I park?
The parking lot can get a little confusing. You can park wherever you want. There is marked guest parking in the middle of the parking lot between the old church building and the newer one.
How do I know where to go?
If you are coming for Sunday School, follow the signs for the Education Building. Someone will be at the door to help you get to where you need to go. If you are coming to service, we will have someone at the front door to welcome you, give you a welcome bag, and to help you know where to go.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US USING THE FORM BELOW, AND ONE OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS WILL GET BACK TO YOU.
